Update Apollo Group TV

Apollo Group TV and Startup Show applications typically receive monthly updates to enhance features and performance. We recommend updating your app regularly to access the latest improvements and ensure optimal functionality.

Below, you’ll find a guide for installing updates and troubleshooting common issues to keep your streaming experience seamless.

If the Update is stuck on the downloading screen you can manually update the application (due to blue circle and not installing)

Auto-Prompt to Download Updates Within the Application

When a new update is available, Apollo Group TV and Startup Show applications will automatically prompt you to download and install it. This built-in feature ensures that you always have the latest version with the newest features and improvements.

    Resolving 'No Access' Error

If you receive an error message stating ‘No Access,’ follow these steps to resolve it: Navigate to My Fire TV > Developer Options > Install Unknown Apps, and turn ON permissions for Apollo Group TV (or Startup Show). This will enable your device to allow updates for the application. After completing the update, you can choose to turn off Install Unknown Apps, though it’s not necessary.

For a Google Device; during the installation; you will be directly taken to the Settings to Allow access for Installing Unknown Applications.

    Resolving 'Not Enough Space' Error

If you encounter a ‘Not Enough Space’ error, go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Storage to check your available storage. Ensure there’s at least 1 GB of free space for optimal performance. If storage is low, consider deleting unused apps or clearing data from larger apps to free up space. More Details can be found on the Device Optimization Page.

    Delete Unused Apps

    • From the Home screen, go to Settings.
    • Select Applications > Manage Installed Applications.
    • Scroll to the app you want to delete and select it.
    • Choose Uninstall to delete the app and free up storage space.

On a Google or Apple Product; simply go to your applications or storage to see what apps are installed and amount of data being used. More Details can be found on the Device Optimization Page.
