Update Apollo Group TV
Apollo Group TV and Startup Show apps receive monthly updates to improve features and performance. We recommend keeping your app updated regularly for the best experience.
If your update is stuck on the downloading screen (due to the blue circle), you can manually update the app to resolve the issue.
LATEST APOLLO VERSION IS 2.4.1
Manual Application Update:
1. Open the Downloader app (use voice prompt – or your apps),
2. Enter URL:
- Apollo Group TV Application – 299336
- Startup Show Application – 257276
3. Select Go (after typing the 6 digital download code)
4. Select Install (white screen, options INSTALL or CANCEL)
5. Select Open (options DONE or OPEN)




Auto-Prompt to Download Updates Within the Application
When a new update is available, Apollo Group TV and Startup Show applications will automatically prompt you to download and install it. This built-in feature ensures that you always have the latest version with the newest features and improvements.

Confirming Your App Version
To check your app version, look at the bottom left of the sign-in screen where the version number is displayed. Alternatively, within the app, go to Account Info to confirm the version and your subscription expiry date. For the latest version details, refer to the News section on our Technical Support page.
Resolving 'No Access' Error
If you receive an error message stating ‘No Access,’ follow these steps to resolve it: Navigate to My Fire TV > Developer Options > Install Unknown Apps, and turn ON permissions for Apollo Group TV (or Startup Show). This will enable your device to allow updates for the application. After completing the update, you can choose to turn off Install Unknown Apps, though it’s not necessary.
For a Google Device; during the installation; you will be directly taken to the Settings to Allow access for Installing Unknown Applications.

Resolving 'Not Enough Space' Error
If you encounter a ‘Not Enough Space’ error, go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Storage to check your available storage. Ensure there’s at least 1 GB of free space for optimal performance. If storage is low, consider deleting unused apps or clearing data from larger apps to free up space. More Details can be found on the Device Optimization Page.
Delete Unused Apps
- From the Home screen, go to Settings.
- Select Applications > Manage Installed Applications.
- Scroll to the app you want to delete and select it.
- Choose Uninstall to delete the app and free up storage space.
On a Google or Apple Product; simply go to your applications or storage to see what apps are installed and amount of data being used. More Details can be found on the Device Optimization Page.
How to Get the Update Download Prompt Again
To trigger the update download prompt again, open the Apollo Group TV or StartUp Show application and navigate to Settings. Clear the cache and confirm the action. You will need to sign in again (your credentials will still be populated). Once you sign back in, the download prompt should reappear.
