Amazon Firestick:

A minimum of a firestick 4k (2nd Generation) is required for best experience. Firestick 4k Max (2nd Generation) recommended.

(ONLY FOLLOW THIS GUIDE FOR AUTHENTIC INSTALLATION – Updated May 8 / 24)

Amazon Firestick Installation Overview: (under 5 min)

1. Install, ‘Downloader Application’ (Steps 1-3)

2. Activate, ‘Developer Mode’ (Steps 4-8)

3. Install, ‘Apollo Group TV’ (Steps 9-11)

4. Move, ‘Apollo Group TV’ to the Home Screen (Steps 12-14)

1. Click (on remote) ‘HOME‘ button, then go to the left to Open/Select ‘MAGNIFY GLASS‘ (Highlighted below), then down to Open/Select ‘SEARCH‘.

2. Within the ‘SEARCH‘ type ‘Downloader’, (once add a D, the link will show up bottom of the screen) go down to Open/Select, ‘DOWNLOADER‘.

3. Open/Select to ‘INSTALL or DOWNLOAD’. The Open/Select, ‘OPEN‘. (If Prompted, Allow Downloader to access photos, media and files’, Open/Select, ‘Allow‘.)

4. Click (on remote) ‘HOME‘ button, then go to the far right and Open/Select, ‘SETTINGS‘ icon. (highlighted below)

5. Open/Select ‘My Fire TV‘ icon.

6. Open/Select ‘ABOUT‘, then your ‘DEVICE TYPE‘ will be Highlighted, then Click (on remote) Open/Select button, 7 times to enable the developer options. A prompt will show up at bottom of the screen.

7. Click (on remote) ‘BACK‘ button then, Open/Select ‘DEVELOPER OPTIONS‘. (FYI is now an option when you Open/Select ‘MY FIRE TV’)

8. Within Developer Options; Open/Select to turn ON, ‘ADB Debugging’. Open/Select ‘APPs from Unknown Sources’. Open/Select, to turn ON, ‘DOWNLOADER‘.

9. Click (on remote) ‘HOME‘ button then, Open/Select ‘APPLICATIONS‘ icon (Highlighted Below). Open/Select, ‘DOWNLOADER‘. (will be at bottom of APP list)

10. Open/Select the blank ‘URL Search Bar’ to open the popup keyboard. Type, 299336, then Open/Select, ‘GO‘.

11a. Download will commence, when promted, go to the right to Open/Select ‘INSTALL‘.

11b. After the install, Open/Select ‘DONE‘, then Click (on remote) ‘HOME‘ to exit Downloader Application. (You now have the Apollo TV App!)

12. Open/Select ‘APPLICATIONS‘ icon (Highlighted Below). Then only, Highlight (do not open), ‘APOLLO GROUP TV‘. (will be at bottom of APP list)

13. Click (on remote) ‘MENU‘ Button (three parallel lines to the right of ‘HOME’ button). Open/Select, ‘Move to Front‘.

*Can use the same process to Open/Select ‘uninstall’ for applications not used ie Downloader. 

14. Click (on Remote) ‘HOME‘ then, Open/Select Apollo Group TV Application. Simply, input your provided User Name and Password!
