Scam Alerts - Fake Apollo Offerings

🚨 URGENT WARNING FOR CANADIAN USERS

We are issuing a critical alert regarding a new wave of phishing and scam websites that have recently launched and are aggressively bidding on Google Ads (Sponsored Results).

Building on our previous scam alert, we need to highlight specific deceptive websites targeting Canadian users. These include apollogroupetv, apollotv .ca, apollogrouptv .ca, and many more.

Google accepts the ad revenue, and domain authorities often fail to intervene. These sites are typically operated by overseas entities that piggyback off our traffic and keyword searches to trick you.

The “Too Good To Be True” Traps

These scam sites try to lure you in with offers that simply do not exist on the genuine service. There are NO alternative offerings; the authentic platform is properly showcased here. If you see any of the following, you are on a scam site:

  • “Pick Your Devices”: You CANNOT choose your device limit. The authentic service comes with a standard 5 concurrent connections. Any site selling “1 Device” or “3 Device” plans is faking their pricing structure to look cheaper.

  • “Lifetime” or “2-Year” Deals: There is NO such thing as a Lifetime subscription or a 2-Year bundle. These are cash grabs designed to steal a large amount of money from you at once.

  • Crypto Only for “Deals”: Be extremely wary of sites pushing Crypto payments for these “Lifetime” offers. Once you send that crypto, it is gone forever.

Common Red Flags (How to Spot the Fake)

  • NO WhatsApp: The real service never uses WhatsApp or text messaging for sales or support. If a site asks you to WhatsApp them, it is a scam.

  • Dead Payment Links: They promise easy Credit Card payments, but the buttons often lead nowhere, eventually forcing you toward insecure payment methods.

  • Fake Support Emails: They list email addresses that do not match their domain names, and the majority of their site links are broken.

  • No Product Previews: A legitimate service shows you the product. Scam sites have no installation guides, no screenshots of the Startup Show app, and no setup instructions because they do not have a product.

Protect Yourself: Reach Out for Guidance

There is a lot of FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) and misinformation online because of these scammers. Do not navigate this alone.
