How to Find Every Live Sport on Apollo
The latest Apollo Group TV update — version 2.6 — is one of the biggest yet for sports fans. It adds a dedicated Sports Live section that brings every sports category into one place, surfaces live scores and popular events, and introduces new filters so you can jump straight to the game you want. Here’s everything that’s new and how to get it.
What’s new in version 2.6
- A new Sports Live hub that gathers all sports categories together
- Live scores and a Popular Events row for at-a-glance action
- New filters to sort by status (All / Live / Upcoming) and by category
- Additional sports categories added across Live TV
Sports Live — all your sports in one place
The new Sports Live section pulls football (soccer), NBA basketball, MLB baseball, UFC, boxing and more under a single hub, so you’re no longer hunting across the channel list to find a game. A Popular Events row surfaces the biggest live and upcoming matchups up top, each shown as a tap-to-watch tile with the current score.
Live scores and popular events
Ongoing games display real-time scores right in the section, and a red Live badge marks what’s playing right now. It’s an easy way to see the action across multiple leagues at a glance without opening each channel.

Discover the revamped Sports Live section, designed to consolidate all your favorite sporting events into one intuitive dashboard.
Easy filtering — find the game in seconds
The new Filters panel lets you narrow by Status (All, Live, or Upcoming) and by Category (Football, NBA, UFC, Baseball and more), then pick your preferred channel and jump straight in. No more scrolling to find what’s on.
More sports categories in Live TV
Alongside the Sports Live hub, the Live TV section has gained additional sports categories — expanding the range of leagues and events you can tune into directly.
Beyond the Sports Live hub, the Live TV section is organized into focused sports categories. Open Live TV and scroll down to find them all:

How to update to Apollo Group TV 2.6
To get the new Sports Live section, make sure you’re on the latest version. Reinstall the newest build over your current app using our update guide — your login and settings carry over.
Live sports are the content ISPs throttle most aggressively, especially during peak hours. If you hit buffering on live games, a properly configured VPN keeps the stream stable — see our VPN setup guide.
Additional Notes
Sportsnet, still have a server compatibilitiy issue, and ‘actively being worked on’. But least still can access all major events without much effort. Would assume the categories will be expanded. WIthin the live tv section, if you scroll down, will also see curated categories.
